Ah Mah wants a Buddhist Rite (21/11/17)

I never had a lengthy serious talk with Ah Mah other than jokes and teasing her. Until today. 

She says if anything happen to her she wants me to arrange a Buddhist funeral rites for her.

I was taken aback.

She says she didn't want to become a Christian considering that she has other children who are unbelievers.

She wants to accompany them. And she starts telling me all her Buddhist stuffs. I let her finish.

I asked, And can u be sure that u can see them in the nether world. She's says she just hope.

And What about her believing children and grands? don't u want to accompany the others who are believers.

I told her pointblank, that considering her age u hv to believe Christ first as her time maybe on borrowed time after her stroke ordeal. And that it was God's mercy on her giving her extra time to believe in Christ and this is the opportunity and time that God has given her.
How else would a 90 yrs old able to survive & recover from a stroke so soon despite her fragile frame. The stroke is just a warning sign. I told her. She agreed. 

I told her not to worry about her other unbelieving children, cos time is still on their side for now unlike u, your journey on earth may be limited, and its not up to us to decide or to wish you long life, Its in the hands of God.

Hence u hv to make the decision to believe and accept, and when the opportunity arises we can talk to the others. I told her. 

And that her believing children and  grands wish to meet her in paradise again when all our time on earth ends. And not to worry about sickness, weakness and worries cos they no longer exist in heaven.
