That Still Small Voice (16/02/2019) - Poem

In my darkest pit where it’s just U and me
I can be candid, I can be free
To express what I’m going through
I can't hide anything from U
The doubts, worries & fear slipped away
My heart smiles as I began to pray
I can faintly hear your still small voice
I realise once again that I have a choice
I can look for the good and treasure thy work
I can help others even when I'm hurt
I'm under your watchful eyes every day
And I’m never alone, here with me, U stay
In the stillness there are other voice
But U regain my strength, U regain my poise
I live on your promises and thy Word
I move on because it's only your voice I heard
So never let me get too busy not to be still
Keep me humble, & mould my selfish will
That I may follow U and serve U with all I am
That I may be useful to your sovereign plan
U are taking care of more than just me
U have a world to love, a world to set free
From the sin and deceptions that capture us all
Till we believe in Jesus Christ and answer your call
I set my heart on U to love U forever
I want to be with Your people and serve U together
In this stillness, remind me why I’m still here.
And as long as U are with me, I have no fear.

  ******* Video - Ah Mah's Baptism (07/10/18) ******* What a joyous day it is to be For my MIL to accept Christ at 90 Thot my ears were deceiving me Till my wife & I met her privately And she seems to declare proudly “I am now a Christian you know”, as she professes distinctly In Teochew, no less, I didn’t hear wrongly Loud & Clear, so joyous that I teared freely Once a pious pagan believer, she rejects Christ stubbornly From children to grandchildren, all tried witnessing to her faithfully But her heart was hardened and she rejects vehemently She never wanted to accept Christ personally. But when the Lord calls out to her candidly She cannot escape our Lord God Almighty. The Holy Spirit moves her heart to accept Christ readily. For a jolt came out of the blues suddenly.
