Coco Lee (6th July 2023)-Poem

Under the lights and fame she stood,
Coco Lee, with a smile that look so good.
Her eyes seems like stars, twinkled with delight,
Like a beacon of joy casting worries out of sight.

But alas, behind that radiant facade,
A storm rages on inside ripping her apart.
For deep within her heart's hidden shore,
Lies the pain and misery she couldn't ignore.

Those pretty eyes & windows to her soul,
With secrets untold, her pain no one knows.
Fame & riches could not mend her agony.
For within her spirit it lingered silently.

In the glamour of stardom, she danced and sang.
Yet within her soul an eternal sorrow rang.
For every smile she wore on her face,
Concealed the silent torment  she embraced.

Behind the glimmers of success and fame,
Lies a struggle one can never truly claim.

Farewell Coco, may you find your rest,
In a realm beyond, where dreams manifest.

  ******* Video - Ah Mah's Baptism (07/10/18) ******* What a joyous day it is to be For my MIL to accept Christ at 90 Thot my ears were deceiving me Till my wife & I met her privately And she seems to declare proudly “I am now a Christian you know”, as she professes distinctly In Teochew, no less, I didn’t hear wrongly Loud & Clear, so joyous that I teared freely Once a pious pagan believer, she rejects Christ stubbornly From children to grandchildren, all tried witnessing to her faithfully But her heart was hardened and she rejects vehemently She never wanted to accept Christ personally. But when the Lord calls out to her candidly She cannot escape our Lord God Almighty. The Holy Spirit moves her heart to accept Christ readily. For a jolt came out of the blues suddenly. An old neighbour visited her to share the gospel with her only Sister Ah Noi even got her to say the sinner’s prayer readily. And peace descended upon her immediately.
