Exhausted Till Burnout (19/8/23) - Poem
Tired is an understatement...its becoming a mental depletion.
Drained and exhausted, my spirit grows weak,
As the demands of work life continue to peak.
Once ablaze with passion, now dimmed and worn,
Drowned in an exhausting routine leaving me torn.
Thoughts, once vibrant, now wither and fade,
The weight of responsibilities never abates.
Creativity stifled, inspiration turned to dust,
In the depths of daily burnout, my dreams lie in rust
Though fatigue may linger, and weariness may grow,
But humor and prayer will help me glow.
When work overwhelms and stress weighs me down,
I'll try to seek the lighter side, where joy can be found.
Writing poems or seek a playful jest,
Or simply go eat and enjoy some light jazz.
