CNY & Death. - poem
In the midst of joyous celebrations, a somber fate called.
A loved ones depart, as Chinese New Year befalls.
A time of celebration is contrasted by sorrow's embrace,
But death pays no heed to any festive's grace.
Loved ones taken in a silent grasp,
Leaving behind a void so vast.
Destiny heeds no calendar's call,
It arrives unannounced, to enthrall,
CNY lanterns shining bright, casting a hopeful glow,
Yet a mournful song echoes, for those who had to go.
In the depths of sorrow, hearts burdened with sudden pain,
Find solace in memories, like grasping grains of gold to retain.
Amidst the reunion feasts and vibrant red attire,
The bereaved remembering their loved ones will never expire.
For the timing may seem cruel and unfair,
The bonds they share transcend time and despair.
In the depths of grief, love will live on,
Like a beacon in the dark its never gone.
Through tears and sorrow, its flame will burn
Guiding hearts until the day they return.
Death during CNY entwined.
Liken to a sudden thunderstorm at the wrong time.
