Father's Day (Jun 2023) - Poem

Today we remember fathers everywhere

Who gave their all and showed they care

Thru thick and thin, they stood by their childrens' side

And taught them how to live with humility & pride.

Though fathers may have stumbled once or twice

And made mistakes that didn't feel so nice

Pls understand they did the best they knew how

To raise you up and help you grow somehow.

Fathers' love was always strong, the hearts were always pure

And through it all, they tried to ensure

That we would have been the tools children need

To navigate this world with discernment & speed.

So remember fathers today

For all the love they've shown along the way

And even if fathers had stumbled along the road

Know that they did the best they could & showed.

Fathers may sometime be brutish along the way 

But their love is pure for their children everyday 

For the unseen sacrifices they made.

And for the lessons that they paid

So to all the fathers out there today

Even if you had stumbled along the way

For the unseen love and unseen care

Fathers did their best and to be utmost fair.

U may read my poem with a pinch of salt

Or treat its as gospel truth u support. 

Either way its just my simple thoughts.
