38th Anniversary 29/1/1986- (29/3/24) - Poem Life is not a canvas to paint and display. But a journey to walk, come what may, The journey of our union, my dear, Its more than just laughter and cheer, Challenges and tears come our way, But together, we overcome them day by day. Thru thick and thin, we've stood strong, Facing the harshest weather that came along, Thk u for caring for me with heart & soul, With you, I feel complete and whole, Our greatest treasure is not silver or gold Though it's nice to hv some to hold. But our unspoken love never grow old. From a feeling we couldn't ignore, A connection we chose to explore, 38 years ago today, we said "I do", Our wildest dream came true. And years passes by like days in a race, 38 years gone by filled with God's grace Now we're promoted to Grands, Wrinkle line extends & waist expands Graying hair & declining strands. Try acting young, but creaking knees can't pretend. I know my work has...

*****Seniors Stay Engaged**** As age catches up, waist & wisdom expands, Wrinkles lines extend, Graying or balding till no end Stay smart, act blur, just pretend. Rather than bicker with anger to vent. Agree that disagreements has no end. You will win more friends Fellowship more often, never mind when La kopi, talk talk sing song also can. Laugh till tummy cramp & denture drop on your hand. Then dementia will be canned. Embrace seniorship & stay happy till the very end.

To Tame An Anger (23/3/24) (Poem)

To Tame An Anger (23/3/24) (Poem) In the depths of a raging heart's fire, My soul trapped in a world so dire. Thoughts of action, hopes to gain, In the end, only agonising thoughts remain. Being talked down to, feeling belittled and small. My voice silenced, unable to stand tall. Unfairness and injustice is a bitter pill, Burdening the heart with unyielding will. Hidden beneath, a calm facade remained But inside, an emotional storm goes untamed. The heart rages, though it may not show, The pain suffers silently is all it knows. But yet life needs to go on. Irrespective whether u song or buay song. (Like it or not) Retaliation is not my cup of tea. I don't have a list of enemies. Just try to keep a safe distance if possible. Unless it's absolutely inevitable. Only time & prayer can calm my raging nerves. Instead of taking out the boxing gloves And give a punch to the eyes above But to forgive, forget & bring back my humour & love. All reactions: 5 5

Due to their immaturity, Meng and Mei found themselves having frequent quarrels over various issues, such as finance, kids, and housework.
