To Tame An Anger (23/3/24) (Poem)
In the depths of a raging heart's fire,
My soul trapped in a world so dire.
Thoughts of action, hopes to gain,
In the end, only agonising thoughts remain.
Being talked down to, feeling belittled and small.
My voice silenced, unable to stand tall.
Unfairness and injustice is a bitter pill,
Burdening the heart with unyielding will.
Hidden beneath, a calm facade remained
But inside, an emotional storm goes untamed.
The heart rages, though it may not show,
The pain suffers silently is all it knows.
But yet life needs to go on.
Irrespective whether u song or buay song. (Like it or not)
Retaliation is not my cup of tea.
I don't have a list of enemies.
Just try to keep a safe distance if possible.
Unless it's absolutely inevitable.
Only time & prayer can calm my raging nerves.
Instead of taking out the boxing gloves
And give a punch to the eyes above
But to forgive, forget & bring back my humour & love.
