My Grands Gave Me Joy
My love for writing has paused as my pen lies still,
Awaiting for the touch of inspiration to fill.
Burdened by work load, a weight I bear,
But when grandkids' arrived, their laughter fills the air.
Their presence is a balm for my weary soul,
Their smiles & joy makes my heart whole.
With such euphoria, my troubles are dissolved.
A treasure trove of happiness to absolve.
My heavy workload shall ceased for now.
As I find time to enjoy their smiles
For in their little snuggles, I am richly blessed,
With grandkids around its hard to be depress.
